View Health Expense – Public   (hover mouse over graphs to view details)

We have not yet located a data set containing private health expenditures. Rather than providing nothing, we are including two graphs of public health expenditures from Google Public Data, although that data is only current through 2010.

Public health care expenditure as a percent of government expenditures includes:

• Recurring or capital expenditures from government budgets (national and local)
• External borrowings and grants including donations from nongovernmental organizations
• Social health insurance funds
