View Health Expenditure per Capita (hover mouse over graphs to view details)
We have not yet located a data set containing private health expenditures. Rather than providing nothing, we are including two graphs of public health expenditures from Google Public Data, although that data is only current through 2010.
Health Expenditure per Capita is the total spending on health care (public and private) as a ratio of total population. It is measured in international dollars converted using 2005 purchasing power parity rates. Health expenditures include:
- Emergency care
- Preventive and curative health services
- Nutrition activities
- Family planning services
It does not include provision of water and sanitation.
The data set is from:
The World Bank via Google Public Data.
